AUSTIN COUNTY ORTHOPEDICS fee schedule
We offer both a membership option for payment and “fee-for-service” option. A patient may enroll in our annual membership plan for a specified amount. This plan allows patients to bundle their visits and in-office procedures together for a flat monthly fee. Please inquire about membership offerings and see below for membership pricing.
The “fee-for-service” option allows a patient to pay for each service individually, including professional fees for surgical procedures. Hospital fees can be managed via managed care providers.
FEE FOR SERVICE
Fees listed are discounted cash prices for payment in full before or at the time of service.
Fees do not include imaging. We work with independent imaging facilities that may offer discounted cash pricing for patients with orders from Dr. Johnson. Please inquire for information.

New Patient In-Person Visit - $250
ONE TIME ONLY
60-minute one-on-one with Dr. Johnson
Imaging required before visit
Dr. Johnson will review imaging with you during your visit
Established In-Person Visit - $150
60-minute one-on-one with Dr. Johnson
Need for imaging determined by Dr. Johnson; if needed, it will be ordered before visit and reviewed with you during your visit
Established Telehealth Visit - $50
*These visits are limited to:
30-minute one-on-one with Dr. Johnson via video conferencing
Diagnostic Imaging Result Reviews and determining the next step in treatment
Lab Results Review and determining the next step in treatment.
Counseling appointments to discuss questions patients may have regarding treatment plans
*** IN-PERSON VISITS INCLUDE ONE NON-IMAGE GUIDED INJECTION WHEN INDICATED AND APPLICABLE.***

Member enrollment fee — $100 (ONE TIME NON-REFUNDABLE)
Membership payment plans: (FEE IS DRAFTED AUTOMATICALLY PER YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE)
PAY MONTHLY: $200/month = $2,400/year
PAY QUARTERLY: $525/quarter = $2,100/year ($300 TOTAL SAVINGS)
PAY YEARLY: $1,800/year ($600 TOTAL SAVINGS)
micro & SMALL BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP FEES-
Corporate fees vary and depend upon the size of your business (number of employees) and predicted orthopedic need. If as a small business owner, you are interested in a corporate membership with Austin County Orthopedics for you and your employees, don't hesitate to contact our office via the inquiry form below, and one of our associates will call with details.
Other Fees
A facility of your choice will provide imaging services. Alternatively, you may go to any MEMORIAL MRI & DIAGNOSTICS location, HOUSTON MRI & DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING location, or HOUSTON MEDICAL IMAGING location in the Greater Houston Area. To have images ordered by Dr. Johnson, an appointment must be made, and appointment fees must be paid. These details will be discussed upon scheduling an appointment.
Durable Medical Equipment: Per Third Party Fee Schedule
Durable Medical Equipment Fitting is included in the visit fee
All Forms (disability, FMLA, attorney forms, etc.) — $25 due upon receipt of completed forms (allow 1-2 business days for completion)
Simple Letter without an appointment (work or school excuse) — $10 due upon receipt of the letter
Prior authorization appeals and peer-to-peer discussions dictated by your insurance for any ancillary services ordered — $20 (to be billed directly to the patient)
Surgeon Fees for surgical procedures will be disclosed in full once there is an indication for surgical intervention and paid directly to Austin County Orthopedics. Any associated hospital fees will be determined by that facility and paid directly to that facility.
